Sign E10: Start of a parking-disc zone
Legal meaning
Parking-disc zone with compulsory use of a parking disc; parking is also prohibited beyond the parking time indicated on the sign.
Shape and colour
Blue rectangular zone sign with P, a parking disc and the word zone: blue zone.
Where the sign stands
At every entrance to the zone, at the start of the street; inside the zone no further individual signs stand.
What the exam asks about this sign
The exam asks what to do in a parking-disc zone: park with a blue parking disc set to the arrival time rounded up to the next half hour, within the time the sign allows. Without a disc you park illegally, even in a bay. Trap: candidates think the disc is also required outside the stated hours; then you may simply park.
