Signs, markings, lights & authority

At a busy junction in Gouda your traffic light turns green. Right behind the junction the traffic on your road is at a standstill; there is no room for your car. Someone behind you honks. What do you do?

You enter the junction; waiting at green holds up the traffic
You enter the junction; green gives you the right to drive onto it
You wait before the junction until there is room on the far side

Explanation

False — you see green as a free pass. Green means go, but it gives no right to enter a junction you cannot leave; you may not block a junction. Wait before the junction until there is room. Book p.53-55.
