Priority, junctions & roundabouts

At a junction in Capelle aan den IJssel an ambulance approaches with blue light and siren together. The traffic light is red for you and there is little room to move aside. What do you do?

I stay at the red light and only look for a safe way to make room once I can do so without danger
I carefully drive through the red light, because a priority vehicle must go first, no matter what

Explanation

False — trap: priority-justifies-any-risk. Causing danger (such as by driving through a red light) to give way to a priority vehicle is not allowed (Book p.116).
