Priority, junctions & roundabouts

At a junction in Rotterdam with no sign, a tram track crosses your road. The tram is approaching from your left. You are not to the right of anyone in particular. What do you do?

I let the tram go — it has priority here, even from the left
I drive on — the rechts-regel applies here, and the tram is not coming from the right

Explanation

Wrong — trap: rechts-regel over-applied. The tram is the EXCEPTION to the rechts-regel: priority, regardless of direction (Book p.105).
