Special road sections

You leave the car park of a shopping centre near Willemstad via the access road. The kerb is not lowered and the road looks like an ordinary side street. On the through road a car is approaching from the left, and on the pavement a pedestrian is walking towards the access road. What do you do?

You let the car from the left go; the pedestrian waits for you
You let both the car from the left and the pedestrian go first
You go before the car from the left: the normal right-hand rule applies here

Explanation

False — you only recognise an uitrit by a lowered kerb. A road that only leads to a car park is an uitrit even without a lowered kerb; whoever leaves an uitrit lets all traffic go first, including traffic from the left (Book p.88).
