Stopping, parking & queues

At the Zeeman in Wageningen you stop the car for two minutes so your mother, who is already waiting outside on the pavement, can get in. How does the book classify this?

Standing still — immediately letting in a passenger who is already there
Parking — two minutes is too long to still count as standing still

Explanation

False — trap: duration-is-purpose. The criterion is the purpose of the stop (immediate getting in/out), not its duration (Book p.159).
