In Voorschoten you see two cars. Car 1 stops in the middle of the junction to let a passenger out. Car 2 stops 3 metres before the junction to let a child out quickly. What is right?
Both may, because briefly letting someone out is not parking
Car 1 is wrong, car 2 may stop there briefly
Both are wrong, car 2 is too close to the junction
Explanation
False — you mix up the two bans. On the junction itself you may not stop; within 5 metres before it you may not park, but stopping briefly to let someone out is allowed there (Book p.161, p.163).
