The model: Turning around and parking: special manoeuvres, priority stays the same
During every special manoeuvre you give way to other traffic and cause no danger or unnecessary nuisance (Book p.155) — including turning around and parking. You turn around either by a half turn or by shunting; parking has four official methods: forward/reverse into a bay, forward/reverse in line (Book p.157).
