The model: Do not block the junction — even with priority
You may only enter a junction if you can drive straight through or clear it again quickly (Book p.103) — priority or a green light changes nothing about that. Two named exceptions: waiting for oncoming traffic when turning left on a priority road, and giving way to a priority vehicle (Book p.104).
