What the exam asks about this sign
The question is what to do on a steep descent: change down beforehand and use engine braking, do not ride the brakes (overheating). On a narrow slope oncoming traffic climbing generally has priority. Trap: candidates pick 'coast in neutral', which is forbidden and dangerous.
Trap
Mixing up J6 and J7.
J6 = steep hill UP (climb); J7 = steep hill DOWN (descent) — the black slope shows the direction.
