Sign OB61: 'Except heavy goods vehicle' sub-panel
Legal meaning
Supplementary plate: except lorries.
Shape and colour
White rectangular plate with 'uitgezonderd' and a lorry symbol: lorries need not obey the sign.
Where the sign stands
Directly under the sign it exempts from, on the same post.
What the exam asks about this sign
The question is who may ignore the sign after this plate: lorries, for example under a road closure or a parking ban. For cars the sign still applies. Trap: candidates think the sign now applies to lorries in particular; the word 'uitgezonderd' turns it round.
