Roundabout; compulsory direction of travel (version without a supplementary plate).
Round blue sign with three white arrows in a circle: compulsory direction on the roundabout, anticlockwise.
On the central island of the roundabout, straight opposite every approach, so it is visible when entering.
The exam asks which way to go on the roundabout: the arrows show the compulsory direction, anticlockwise. Without a plate and without shark's teeth the normal rule applies on the roundabout: traffic from the right (the entering traffic) has priority — in practice almost every roundabout carries B6 so that traffic on the roundabout goes first. Trap: signalling when entering is not required, signalling when leaving is.
J9— Triangle: warns of the roundabout, orders nothing. -
D3— Two arrows pointing down on a traffic island: pass on either side, no roundabout. -
B6— Stands on the approach and settles priority; D1 only settles direction.
