Sign C8: Closed to agricultural and forestry tractors
Legal meaning
Closed to agricultural and forestry tractors, speed-restricted motor vehicles and mobile machinery.
Shape and colour
Round white sign with a red rim and a black tractor: closed to tractors and slow motor vehicles.
Where the sign stands
At the start of the closed stretch, right after the junction, on the right; often at the entry of an expressway or a busy through road.
What the exam asks about this sign
The exam asks who may not enter: agricultural and forestry tractors and motor vehicles with limited speed (such as a forklift or a sweeper). A microcar or a car may. Trap: candidates think it covers slow traffic in general, but cyclists and riders are not included — that is C9.
