What the exam asks about this sign
The exam asks whom this sign covers: only buses, so a service bus, coach or school bus. A camper or an eight-seat minibus is not a bus and may enter. Trap: candidates think lorries are excluded too, but that needs C7 or C7b; read the pictogram, not the colour.
Often confused with
- Closed to trucks (lorries)
C7— Only lorries. - Closed to trucks and buses
C7b— Lorries and buses. - Carriageway or lane reserved exclusively for scheduled buses (bus lane)
