What the exam asks about this sign
The question is what to do at this sign: let pedestrians crossing on the zebra or clearly wanting to cross go first; just before the zebra you may not overtake and you may not stop on the zebra. Trap: candidates confuse L2 (at the zebra itself) with J22 (warning at a distance).
Often confused with
- Warning for a pedestrian crossing
J22— Triangle: warning that a zebra is ahead. - Warning for pedestrians
J23— Pedestrians without a zebra: no priority. - Bus and/or tram stop
L3— Bus stop: also a blue sign at the spot itself.
